Better wipe detection
Improve how wipe dates and schedules are detected from live data, server names, and owner-confirmed information. The goal is a more useful Wipe Calendar with clearer upcoming wipe information.
Public roadmap
Explore planned improvements for discovery, owner tools, creator features, mobile support, and future community tools.
Short-term improvements planned for the beta period.
Improve how wipe dates and schedules are detected from live data, server names, and owner-confirmed information. The goal is a more useful Wipe Calendar with clearer upcoming wipe information.
Make filters smarter per game, so Rust, DayZ, Garry's Mod, Counter-Strike, and other games show the tags players actually search for. Owner-provided tags should complement detected tags, not override important live signals.
Make LFG posts easier to browse, apply to, and manage. Logged-in users should be able to show useful profile context such as linked Steam status and preferred games.
Expand the creator endorsement system so affiliates can clearly recommend servers while keeping the experience fair and readable for players. This should help creators, server owners, and players all understand why a server is being highlighted.
Keep improving phone and tablet layouts for discovery, server details, profiles, billing, and support. The mobile experience should feel close to an app even before a native app exists.
Bigger product areas planned after the early beta improvements.
Build a dedicated mobile app for discovery, favorites, alerts, profiles, and server owner notifications. This would make freshwipe.gg easier to use when players are away from their desktop.
Add Discord sign-in and useful Discord connections for server owners. Possible uses include owner verification, support, announcements, and community links.
Let owners embed freshwipe.gg badges, player counts, vote buttons, or claim status on their own websites. This can help owners promote their servers while sending useful signals back to the platform.
Expand alerts beyond favorites, such as notify me when a server wipes, reaches a population threshold, or becomes active again. Players should be able to follow servers without constantly checking lists.
Add stronger voting tools and optional vote reward support for communities that want to reward active players. The goal is to make voting useful for server growth without making the player experience annoying.
Larger ideas being explored for future freshwipe.gg products.
A future server plugin concept where participating servers can share serious moderation signals such as banned SteamIDs. Server owners could use it to spot repeat offenders across participating communities.
Explore server-side plugins that connect claimed servers to freshwipe.gg for richer status, claim verification, alerts, and owner tools. This could make claimed listings more powerful than basic public listings.
Offer a documented API for owners, creators, and community tools. This would make it easier to build bots, widgets, dashboards, and external tools around freshwipe.gg data.
Player and server owner feedback will shape what gets built first. If a feature would genuinely help you find, claim, or grow a server, send it through support.
